UD Almería will face a fourth-tier Segunda RFEF side in the Spanish Cup first round with the draw set to take place this Monday at 1pm in the Luis Aragonés Hall at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, Madrid.
The opening round will be played over a single leg on 27, 28 or 29 October, with the tie taking place away from home for the Rojiblancos.
The RFEF has divided the 112 clubs taking part in the competition into 4 groups based on geographical proximity. UD Almería have been placed in Group III, alongside clubs from Andalusia, Valencia, Murcia, the Balearic Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Melilla and Ceuta.
5 top-flight LaLiga EA Sports clubs are included in the group and will be drawn against the 3 teams coming through the preliminary round and the twoTercera RFEF sides.
7 LaLiga Hypermotion teams will enter the competition at this stage and are guaranteed to face one of the 9 Segunda RFEF clubs. The remaining two will be drawn against teams from Primera RFEF.
