UD Almería Women kick off season by hosting Arenas de Armilla

UD Almería Women are preparing to kick off the official season in Tercera RFEF Group IX this Sunday at 12 noon at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium, where it will host Arenas de Armilla. Initially, two strong contenders will face off for promotion, so the league is off to a strong start for the Rojiblancas. The Tercera RFEF tier has been restructured and the competition has expanded to 18 groups.
The Eastern Andalusia sides formed Group IX (UD Almería Women, Granada CF Woman, Málaga CF Women and Real Jaén Women) and UD Melilla Women. There are 12 teams, three of them from Almería province, because in addition to UD Almería Women, Pavía and Murgi de El Ejido will also be competing. Most of the clubs are new to the division. Compared to last season, the Indálicas, the above-mentioned Arenas de Armilla and Real Jaén Women are also competing.
