UD Almería sign sough-after right-back Marc Pubill

UD Almería have completed the signing of one of the most sought-after players in the transfer window. The fourth recruit of the summer is right-back Marc Pubill, who excelled at UD Levante last season. Despite being only 20 years old, he is one of the gems of Spanish football. There have been numerous Spanish and Premier League clubs that have been interested in signing him, but it was UD Almería who swooped for his services in the end.

 

Marc Pubill, who has penned a six-year deal with UD Almería, is a powerful and fast player. Despite being 1.90m tall, he is quick on his feet down the flank and great at crossing. The Rojiblancos' attacking unit has been bolstered without a doubt.

 

He was born in Tarrasa on 20th June 2003 and started training as footballer in the youth ranks of Manresa and Espanyol until he agreed terms to join UD Levante U19. Then, he made the leap to Atlético Levante UD and to the senior team in the last term playing 24 games in the Segunda Division and scoring one goal.
