UD Almería Women add USA-tested talent Anna Gómez to midfield ranks
UD Almería Women have confirmed their first signing ahead of the 2025/26 season with the addition of attacking midfielder Anna Gómez, a player with extensive experience in the United States football system
Anna Gómez arrives from Motril CF, where she played a key role in the club’s promotion campaign last season. However, it is her development across the Atlantic that particularly caught the eye of UD Almería Women's recruitment team.
The Spanish midfielder honed her craft in the competitive USL women’s circuit, representing FC Miami City and other sides during a stint in the United States.
Her football résumé includes spells with Union College in Kentucky, Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida, Albion in San Diego, and Lexington SC—experience that has shaped her into a dynamic, creative force in the squads.
