UD Almería to face CD Mirandés in Anduva Stadium’s official return

The Miranda de Ebro side's stadium renovations are now completed. CD Mirandés set to play at home for the first time this season

UD Almería will face CD Mirandés at the newly-renovated Anduva Stadium this Saturday, marking the official return of the stadium after its extensive renovations. This will be the first time the stadium is in use for a competitive match, as CD Mirandés hosts UD Almería after receiving approval from LaLiga.

For the majority of this season, CD Mirandés had been playing their home games at Deportivo Alavés' Mendizorroza Stadium due to the ongoing work at Anduva. However, LaLiga granted the green light on Wednesday, allowing CD Mirandés to debut their revamped ground against UD Almería in the upcoming match, set to kick off at 2pm (Spanish Time).

Although the stadium will be open for the match, the renovations are not fully completed. The stands will not be accessible to home fans and will instead be reserved for media and television use for this game. As a result, CD Mirandés fans will be relocated to other parts of the stadium, and tickets for visiting supporters are unavailable. UD Almería’s travelling fans will need to buy tickets directly from the home team at Anduva Stadium.

The return to the Anduva Stadium is of historical significance for both clubs. Last season, CD Mirandés were one of the best home teams in the league at this stage of the competition. However, playing all their matches at Mendizorroza this season, they have only managed a single victory. UD Almería will be hoping to take advantage of this, as they look to close out the first half of the 2025/26 season with a strong performance.
