Léo Baptistão and other internationals due to arrive
The Rojiblancos are back to training until Saturday with a key match against current league leaders Levante UD. The Brazilian is training on the sidelines, while Lopy, Bruno Langa, and Perovic make their international return on Thursday
UD Almería are back to training after Sunday's rest day in a training week that will end on Saturday with the 9pm kick-off match against current LaLiga Hypermotion pacesetters Levante UD at the UD Almería Stadium (Matchday 33).
The presence of Léo Baptistão on Anexo UD Almería Stadium pitch, who has been out for the last two matches, has been one of the highlights of the session. The Brazilian trained alongside Rachad, on the sidelines of the group.
Rubi already announced in the press conference prior to the match in Burgos that the forward would be available, with a high probability for the match against the Granotas. His progress will be monitored over the next few days. UD Almería are waiting for him, as well as other international players, to find replacements given the number of injuries.
Bruno Langa, Lopy, and Perovic continue with their respective national teams and face new matches this Tuesday; the first two with Mauritania and Senegal, respectively, qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, and the third with Montenegro U19, who are looking for a place in the European Championship in their tier.
Bruno Langa and Perovic have been starters so far, while Lopy was not included last Saturday against Sudan in Libya. On Wednesday, all of them will have long trips and they will join the squad on Thursday.
Chumi, Baba, and Rachad will be the only absences, 4 less than at El Plantío Stadium last Friday.
