Dion Lopy settling into new surroundings as season built-up is underway
UD Almería start the week putting the graft in towards LaLiga EA Sports opener against Rayo Vallecano at the training base. The squad is training again this Tuesday evening
UD Almería are back in training after having Sunday off and the last pre-season friendly played last Saturday against Granada CF. They have now switch their attention to LaLiga ES Sports opener at the Power Horse Stadium (KO 7:30pm Spanish Time)
The Rojiblancos have exercised on the Anexo training pitch with latest signing Dion Lopy settling nicely into new surroundings with his new team-mates. In addition, Pozo and Marciano, who was forced off with discomfort in the match against Granada, have taken part in the practice.
Chumi, with a blow to his side, has been in the medical room, but it looks that the setback will not prevent him from being available for the first official Matchday. Fernando, with muscular discomfort since the pre-season camp in Benahavís, has trained with the goalkeepers. Those who remain on the sidelines are Šviderský and Léo Baptistão, although he continues progressing to full recovery on the pitch.
This Tuesday, the squad will be put through their paces on the Anexo ground and at the Power Horse Stadium. On the horizon, Rayo Vallecano will be the first rivals in the coming 2023/24 EA Sports League kick-off.
