UD Almería get down to business in season run-in
The Rojiblancos are having a week-long training plan ahead of Saturday's trip to Pamplona. UD Almería 'B' youngster Marcos Peña has joined the first team
Four weeks remain before LaLiga Santander comes to an end, and the first of them has kicked off with the UD Almería members excited for business end of the season in the first session after the Spanish Cup final break. The Rojiblancos trained at the Power Horse Stadium for Saturday's game against CA Osasuna on the horizon at El Sadar Stadium (KO 4:15pm CEST).
Head coach Rubi has all his players available for selection, except for injured Kaiky and El Bilal Touré, who have been exercising on the sidelines under the physios' supervision. UD Almería 'B' central midfielder Marcos Peña has been the highlight of this first practice as the youngster joined the first team once the Division de Honor Juvenil league has concluded. Another 'B' team member, Marciano, continues to follow Rubi's instructions.
There has been plenty of ball possession, pressing and passing drills as well as specific match situations during this Monday's first session. UD Almería are back to the training ground this Tuesday morning.
