UD Almería sign Selvi Clua to bolster midfield

The new recruit, who is 20 years old and 1.89m tall, moves from Girona FC and signs until 2030. This season, he has played in the Spanish top flight, Spanish Cup and Champions League

UD Almería and Girona FC have reached a mutual agreement for the transfer of central midfielder Selvi Clua, who signs with the Rojiblancos' Club until June 2030. Having just turned 20 years old, the new Rojiblanco comes with an extensive footballing career in elite football. In fact, this season the new recruit has played 5 LaLiga EA Sports games, 2 Spanish Cup ties and 1 Champions League match, in addition to facing Paris Saint Germain and Feyenoord in the UEFA Youth League. 
 
Selvi Clua Oya was born on 20th January, 2005 in the Tarragona-based town of Pinell de Brai and he has just turned 20. He is 1.89m tall and plays in the midfield as a central midfielder or defensive midfielder. His best skill is passing accuracy and due to his height he performs very well in the aerial game. 
 
The new addition began his football training in the lower ranks of Reus and Nástic de Tarragona and then he moved to Girona FC in the youth ranks. He played for Girona FC 'B' and now head coach Míchel counted on him to join the first team. 
 
His contract with the Catalans was meant to expire in June 2025, however UD Almería have managed to sign him in this January transfer window.
