UD Almería 'B' will host Recreativo de Huelva on Matchday 1
The UD Almería prospects will kick off the season at home against El Decano of Spanish football on 7 September. The first trip to take on Atlético Malagueño will take place on home turf
UD Almería 'B' will kick off the season in Group IV of the Segunda RFEF by hosting historically great club Recreativo de Huelva, who arrives at the division after having been relegated from the third-tier Primera RFEF.
To start with, they will face truly tough opponents because El Decano of Spanish football will be one of the main candidates for promotion. The competition starts on September 7. The first trip to Málaga will see the lads visiting an old face, Atlético Malagueño, who has been newly promoted.
The Segunda RFEF Group IV league in which 18 teams compete ends on 3 May 2026 when the youthful Rojiblancos will play against FC Águilas. For the first time in the division, the schedule is asymmetrical. The Christmas break will come after Matchday 16 (21 December) with UD Almería 'B' playing CD Estepona, while 2026 will begin on 4 January with the 'B' team visiting Lorca FC.
Lorca FC, along with Real Jaén, Atlético Malagueño, Salerm Puente Genil and Extremadura have been promoted from the Tercera RFEF, while Recreativo de Huelva and Yeclano come from the Primera RFEF. Without a doubt, a tremendously tough group.
