UD Almería 'B' plan demanding-looking pre-season
Lasarte's side begin preparation on 21 July with two friendlies per week. The 2025/26 season will be extremely tough
UD Almería 'B' will officially begin pre-season on 21 July with an eye to prepare for the demanding challenge they face in the Segunda RFEF for the second consecutive year.
UD Almería 'B' coaching staff led by Alberto Lasarte has drawn up a training plan as rigorous as the group it is placed in. In addition to the usual workloads during this summer period, the team will face two friendlies in the 6 weeks ahead.
Last season, the boys came close to reaching the play-off dream in their debut in the division after a remarkable year, in a division where there are usually fewer than 10 points between those fighting for promotion and those who end up relegated.
The added handicap for the 2025/26 season is the list of clubs that will compete with UD Almería 'B' following the new team distribution.
