UD Almería B in dire need of triumph in Motril

This Sunday (KO 12 noon CEST), the UDA B team are to play the first of the three finals that lie ahead in the race for the promotion play-offs.

UD Almería 'B' are to go on a trip to the Escribano Castilla Stadium in Motril at midday this Sunday. It'll be the first of the three finals to reach the play-offs for promotion to the Segunda Division RFEF.

The Academy Indálicos have to win this weekend. Meanwhile, Atlético Malagueño and Huétor Vega have to lose to their games to be able to re-enter the play-offs zone and move up a tier, with two Matchdays to go. It will not be an easy game since CF Motril, in the event of winning, would virtually seal their Tercera Division RFEF survival. In addition, a record attendance is expected, so the youthful Rojiblancos will have to put in the graft if they want to win.

In the event of losing, and depending on other results, they could be left out, virtually, of the play-off positions. It will be a crucial Matchday, like those that remain ahead, in the fight for the fifth spot since it gives access to the play-offs, since Atlético Malagueño host fourth-ranked UD Torre del Mar while Huétor Vega take on Málaga City, a team that is located in the drop zone. It will be necessary to closely follow those two meetings in which the 'B' team also play.
