UD Almería 'B' embark on Segunda RFEF journey visiting Águilas FC

The match will be played at 7:30pm this Saturday on the El Rubial pitch against one of the Group IV toughest rivals. 'In this tier, we must be very competitive which is fundamental,' states head coach Alberto Lasarte

The time has finally come! UD Almería 'B' embark on the Segunda RFEF Group IV journey with important clubs that will seek promotion. One of them will be Aguilas FC, who will host the youthful Rojiblancos this Saturday for a 7:30pm kick-off on the El Rubial pith. If the season is expected to be complicated for the UDA young team, Matchday 1 is extremely difficult and demanding.

'Águilas FC could put a starting XI with a Primera RFEF footballer,' said Alberto Lasarte on UDA Radio, the official radio station of UD Almería. He also highlighted the big signings that the club chaired by Alfonso García has made. In addition, the gaffer added: 'They have a good head coach with very clear ideas and I'm sure that Águilas will be at the top fighting to rise. We'll have to become the best version of ourselves if we want to win this Saturday,' highlighted the Jaén native.

'In this tier, we must be highly competitive, play with attacking ideas and having a lot of character,' he continued.

When asked how his team is going to start the league, Mr Lasarte responded: 'We aren't one hundred percent yet because among other things there have been players who have arrived late and others who are with the first team.'
