UD Almería B close out pre-season with two weekend games
The Academy prospects have finished their demanding summer preparations with friendlies against Club Atlético Pulpileño (2-0) and Córdoba CF B (1-2)
UD Almería 'B' have closed out the summer pre-season with a couple of weekend games. The youthful Rojiblancos faced Club Atlético Pulpileño and Córdoba CF 'B' on Friday and Saturday, respectively, in those friendly games, Alberto Lasarte's youth side could not maintain the unbeaten run throughout the pre-season, since both games ended a 2-0 defeat to Atlético Pulpileño and losing 1-2 against Córdoba FC 'B'.
UD Almeria 'B' played both practice games with barely 24 hours to rest in-between, however head coach Alberto Lasarte made it clear on UDA Radio: 'All players played 90 minutes in these two last games.' With this objective already achieved, UD Almería 'B' wrap up a pre-season that began on 17th July and has been extended until 3rd September with many matches and tactical concepts grasped for the coming season.
The Rojiblanco youth team are now preparing the first official match within Group IX of the Tercera RFEF tier that is to kick off on 10th September with a fixture against Atlético Malagueño with kick-off yet to be confirmed.
