UD Almería Women get their campaign underway this Sunday, 6 September, when they welcome CF Femarguín to the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium. Entry to the game is free.

The fixture marks the Rojiblancas' first taste of life in Segunda Federación, the third tier of Spanish women's football, following their impressive promotion last season.

The UDA girls face an experienced Femarguín side with plenty of players accustomed to this level, ensuring a demanding opening test for the Rojiblancas.

With as many as 5 teams in the group set to have the opportunity to challenge for promotion due to next season's restructuring, there is plenty to play for. CF Femarguín are among those with ambitions of going up, while UD Almería Women will also be aiming to compete at the top end of the table.

The curtain opener therefore represents a significant test as UD Almería Women begin their new campaign and look to make their mark in Segunda Federación.
