UD Almería face short turnaround ahead of Albacete trip
The Rojiblancos prepare for Friday night game at the Carlos Belmonte stadium after back-to-back home fixtures
UD Almería now switch their focus to the road as they prepare for Matchday 28 of LaLiga Hypermotion, travelling to face Albacete Balompié at the Carlos Belmonte Stadium on Friday, 27 February, kick-off 8:30pm.
After playing two consecutive fixtures at the UD Almería Stadium, the Rojiblancos head into what will be a 'short' week of preparation. The turnaround leaves little room for extended build-up, with just 3 full training sessions scheduled ahead of the trip to Castilla-La Mancha.
This Sunday’s practice will focus primarily on recovery for those who logged heavy minutes in the recent game against Córdoba CF, while the rest of the squad will undergo a more intensive work-out. Monday has been set aside as a rest day, offering the players a brief pause before attention turns fully to Friday’s encounter.
From Tuesday onwards, preparations will intensify with 3 morning sessions behind closed doors, all tailored to the challenge awaiting them at the Carlos Belmonte stadium. The squad will travel by road to Albacete on Thursday afternoon.
With the league campaign entering a decisive phase, UD Almería know that every detail and every point could prove crucial.
