UD Almería open doors to keen fans
Members of the supporters’ Club have attended the first-team training session this Wednesday morning and later met with the players and head coach Rubi to take photos and ask for autographs
UD Almería have opened the doors of training this Wednesday morning to a group of fans who belong to the Club's Federation of Supporters Clubs. Just over 50 supporters gathered at the training session and once it was over, they met with them to take photos with the players and head coach Rubi and ask for their autographs.
It is not the first time that UD Almería open their doors not only to the media, which is usual, but also to other groups so that they can see the footballers in action and then meet them personally. It happened recently with the ANDA Association, for children with disabilities, and previously with the two shifts at the UD Almería Foundation training camp.
Throughout the season, at specific times, this fresh initiative that has emerged from head coach Rubi will continue to be developed. Needless to say, the groups cannot be large since when the training sessions are held on the Anexo training base, the facility managed by City Council, there are other users exercising there and the Club prefers not to disturb the athletes or sportsmen/sportswomen who are in the same facility.
