UD Almería Women are just one step away from securing long-awaited promotion to Segunda RFEF, the third tier of women’s football in Spain.
The Rojiblancas will face SD Nueva Montaña from Santander this Sunday at 12 noon CET at the Emilio Campra youth Stadium in the second leg of the promotion play-off.
The tie is firmly in UD Almería Women’s favour following an emphatic 0-4 victory in Cantabria, but the team remain fully focused and wary of their opponents, knowing there are still 90 minutes left to play.
Throughout the week, the UD Almería girls' squad has been working up a sweat in training as they look to complete a brilliant season in the best possible way with promotion to the next division.
