UDA U19s 'A' in Spanish Cup U19 spots

The UDA products, who are on a 9-game unbeaten streak, won at home against bottom team CF Rusadir (0-2) and now sit 5th in the Group IV table of Division de Honor. UDA U19s 'B' lost to Málaga-based side Tiro de Pichón

UD Almería Under-19s 'A' are now in positions that qualify to compete in the Copa del Rey U19, one of the great objectives of the season. Division de Honor  is highly competitive with evenly-matched teams. So much so that the Academy Rojiblancos have secured this position now, after Matchday 13 and being on a 9-game unbeaten streak, following 3 draws and 6 victories, the last one achieved last Sunday away to bottom team CF Rusadir (0-2). 
 
The Copa del Rey U19 is played by the top-four of each of the seven Groups of the Division de Honor tier, and the four best 5th placed with UD Almería U19s 'A' being one of them, once the first half of the campaign has finished.
 
Although there are still four games to go, the youthful Rojiblancos have taken a huge step. In fact, they sit 5th, with 25 points, one behind fourth-placed team Sevilla FC U19; two behind the third, which is La Cañada, their next rivals on Sunday; and 3 behind the second, Granada CF U19. Current leaders Betis Balompié Under-19s, are 6 points away. Behind them, Málaga CF U19, sixth, are with 22 points. 
 
As for UD Almería Under-19s 'B', they lost 3-0 to Málaga-based side CD Tiro de Pichón who are second in their Group. The UDA Academy prospects occupy a comfortable 7th place.
