UD Almería U12 participate in LaLiga Promises
The youngest Rojiblancos lived the enjoyable experience of this prestigious tournament after several seasons not taking part in it
UD Almería U12 greatly enjoyed LaLiga Promises last weekend. This is the 30th occasion in which this tournament, organised by LaLiga and the José Ramón de la Morena Foundation, was held at the La Cerámica Stadium. All the youth sides from LaLiga Santander clubs were present.
The youngest Rojiblancos were led by head coach Carlos Cintas and Chico Flores, who was chosen by the Club as the veteran to be able to play a few minutes with the boys, since this time, LaLiga included the possibility that each team could bring a professional player to play the first 5 minutes of each match.
The Indálicos were included in high-level group against Athletic Bilbao U12, Girona FC U12, reigning champs Real Madrid CF U12 and tournament hosts Villarreal CF U12.
The UDA Academy youth side returned to this competition after several years without doing so since only the teams whose first team compete in the top tier of Spanish football attend. It is for this reason that UD Almería U12 had not enjoyed this experience since 2015.
