AD Ceuta FC vs UD Almería match resumption set for 26 November
Both clubs agree on potential date, pending schedule change for Dépor La Coruña fixture
The second half of the suspended AD Ceuta FC vs UD Almería match could take place on Wednesday, 26 November, following an agreement between both clubs. The game was halted at half-time on Sunday, after the tragic death of a 73-year-old Ceutí fan.
For the resumption to occur on 26 November, LaLiga would need to reschedule AD Ceuta FC’s Deportivo La Coruña match, currently set for Sunday, 23 November. Due to travel logistics, AD Ceuta FC would not return to their city until Monday, 24 November and therefore, both clubs have agreed to resume their match on 26 November provided that their Deportivo La Coruña fixture is moved to Saturday, 22 November.
However, LaLiga's policy typically avoids altering match dates if it affects other clubs, in this case, Deportivo de La Coruña and the logistical impact such changes could have on the overall schedule.
