Dzôdić will sit out Cádiz CF match due to suspension

The Serbian midfielder picked up his 5th yellow card of the season. The squad will have a recovery session on Monday, with Tuesday as a rest day for the players

UD Almería midfielder Stefan Dzodic will be unavailable for next Saturday’s match against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla  stadium in Cádiz. The Serbian player received his 5th yellow card of the season and will now serve a one-match suspension.

Left-back Álex Muñoz and midfielder Gui Guedes were also on yellow card watch but managed to avoid bookings in the match against AD Ceuta FC.

Meanwhile, attention will be on Nico Melamed during the week, as he was a last-minute absentee due to discomfort. Chumi and Lopy, who are in the final stages of their respective recoveries, will also be closely monitored. Rubi recently hinted that they may be fit for the Cádiz CF derby, but caution is still required regarding their availability.

On a different note, the UD Almería squad will have a light recovery session on Monday at the Anexo pitch for those who played the most minutes against the Ceutís, while the rest of the squad will have a more demanding work-out. Tuesday will be a rest day for the Rojiblancos and specific preparations for the match at Nuevo Mirandilla stadium m begin on Wednesday.
