Dzôdić awaits medical tests; Álex Muñoz and Embarba back in action
UD Almería set for recovery session Saturday ahead of break before 9 March game with Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa
UD Almería midfielder Dzôdić had to be replaced in the 40th minute of the match in Albacete after experiencing ankle discomfort. Although he initially tried to continue, he was eventually substituted for Baba. He was seen limping as the player left the dressing room. The Serbian player will undergo medical tests to determine the full extent of the injury.
On a positive note, Álex Muñoz and Embarba are available for the upcoming home match on 9 March against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, having served their respective suspensions for accumulated yellow cards. Attention will also be on André Horta, who is recovering from a soleus injury, alongside the aforementioned Dzôdić.
UD Almería have a 10-day gap between the Albacete BP match and the next fixture at home on 9 March. After returning from Castilla-La Mancha, the squad will hold a recovery session on Saturday, followed by rest days on Sunday and Monday, before resuming training on Tuesday.
