Dyego Sousa: ‘I’m very happy to help the team with goals and work’
The Portuguese centre-forward promises to continue giving his all at UD Almería after netting his superb hat-trick against CD Mirandés
Without a doubt, Dyego Sousa was absolutely the most outstanding footballer in UD Almería's comprehensive victory over CD Mirandes at the Anduva Stadium. The Portuguese scored a hat-trick in just 53 minutes and provided team-mate Arnau with a smart assist to slam in the fourth. It was after this brilliant performance that he told UDA Radio really excited: ‘I’m very happy to help the team with goals and work.’
The 32-year-old had a post-game flash interview with the Club’s official radio station holding the ball, signed by his team-mates, because it will be an everlasting memory of his debut as a starter for UD Almeria. Sousa highlighted his early opener as ‘it was a well-worked team goal.’
Now, the São José de Ribamar native only focuses on ‘continuing this way’ and promises to do his very best every time he gets the chance to play. ‘I’m here to help in whatever way,’ he concluded.
