Two-match bans for Nico Melamed and Rubi and one for Kaiky and Bruno Langa

The RFEF Disciplinary Committee has issued a ruling on the sending-offs of the 3 UD Almería players and their head coach in the match against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium

The Spanish Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee (RFEF) has issued a two-match ban for Nico Melamed and head coach Rubi and a one-match suspension for Kaiky and Bruno Langa, regarding the UD Almería players' dismissal in last Friday's match against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium.

As a result, the three UD Almería players will sit out next Sunday's fixture against Real Racing Club de Santander, a crucial match against direct rivals in the race for promotion to the top flight. Furthermore, Nico Melamed will also be ruled out of the squad list a Matchday later in Miranda de Ebro against CD Mirandés.

Head coach Rubi will also be suspended from the dugout for these two matches. All of them received straight red cards in Cádiz: Kaiky for tackling an opponent who was about to face the goal as the last defender; Bruno Langa for violently inflicting a moment in play; Nico Melamed for contempt and disregard for the referee's work; and gaffer Rubi for protesting the referees' decisions.
