3 Training sessions to prepare for first-leg of play-offs final

The Rojiblancos have a day and a half to recover as they will rest on Wednesday and return to training on Thursday afternoon behind closed doors

UD Almería will take a short break after the high tension and physical demands of the end of the regular season and the play-off semis, with both matches played within a very short 3-day span.

Following their qualification for the final, and with their opponents still in action on Wednesday, the coaching staff has decided to grant the squad a day and a half of rest.

UD Almería will return to training on Thursday afternoon at the Anexo training base, with the session taking place behind closed doors. This will mark the start of tactical preparations for the first leg of the final, which will be played on Sunday at 9pm at either La Rosaleda stadium in Málaga or the Gran Canaria stadium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The squad will complete a couple of further morning training sessions on Friday and Saturday. The team will then travel in the afternoon, with the destination still to be confirmed.

Upon returning to training on Thursday, the fitness of several UD Almería players will also be assessed, including André Horta, who is recovering from a muscle issue and Embarba, who finished the match against CD Castellón with minor discomfort.
