'Making my UD Almería senior team debut has been incredible. It's a great time for me,' stated UD Almería 'B' player Marko Perovic after making his official debut with the first team. The left-winger is only 18 years old and he is a UDA 'B' team member, although he is now training regularly with the first team. He arrived this summer from Montenegro side FK Jezero and began to stand out with UD Almería 'B', a fact that caught the attention of the first team coaches who consider that apart from having a bright future ahead of him, it is also a reality as he has just made his senior team debut against Córdoba CF.
The Pogdorica native came on in the 80th minute to shine at the UD Almería Stadium. In his first play, he went in from the left wing, shot at goal, the goalkeeper denied him and Leo Baptistao scored the rebound. Shortly afterward, he tried his luck again. Perovic explained: 'The head coach told me before getting out onto the pitch to go for the goal and Leo Baptistao. I went in calmly so that things could go well for me.'
The young Rojiblanco also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to gaffer Rubi: 'Thank you for giving me this excellent opportunity. I come from a very small country and making my debut in Spanish football is very special for me. This shirt is for me and my family.'
