David Cuenca arrives at Almeria ‘B’ on loan from Real Madrid
The young left-back is Jorge Cuenca’s younger brother who played for the UD Almeria’s first team last season
UD Almería and Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign left-back David Cuenca Barreno, who joins Almeria ‘B’ on loan with an option to buy. The new member of the Academy senior team is central defender Jorge Cuenca’s younger brother, who last campaign played for the Indálicos first-team.
The 19-year-old youngster faces his first season as a UD Almeria ‘B’ player after making a glittering footballing career. The full-back has risen through various Real Madrid's ‘La Fábrica’ lower ranks, even participating in training sessions for the Blanco first team, and has been called up to several matches playing for Youth Spain.
Now he will play for Almería ‘B’ after signing a one-year loan including an option to buy ahead of the start of the 2021/22 campaign to compete in the Tercera Division RFEF.
