David Badía resigns from UD Almeria for personal reasons

Jesús Muñoz becomes a sports analyst for the first team and will join the club's technical area

David Badía, who was assistant manager until last matchday of the league, reached an agreement with the club to terminate his contract for personal reasons, as he communicated to the entity. The coach arrived in Almeria last November as a member of the José María Gutiérrez’s work team.

On the other hand, as we had been reporting, Víctor Mañas and Jesús Muñoz joined the UD Almeria coaching staff. The first one has been working as an analyst with Unai Emery in recent years, while the latter becomes a sports analyst for the first team and will join the club's technical area.

It should be noted that Jesús Muñoz was assistant coach last season in Almeria, although this time, he will not perform these duties but those mentioned above.

All in all, the backroom team will be led by José María Gutiérrez, as a head coach, with Antonio Ruiz Vilches as an assistant coach. Both Javier Agenjo and Víctor Fortes will be responsible for physical training, while Borja Álvarez and Ricardo Molina will be goalkeepers’ coaches. Last but not least, Víctor Mañas will be the sports analyst and Jesús Muñoz will support him and also join the club's technical area.
