
Daniel Carriço is now one more Rojiblanco
The Portuguese centre-back takes his medical, joins physical training and meets his new team-mates
Daniel Carriço has already joined the discipline of UD Almería after signing for one season with the option for a second. He left the Chinese team Wuhan after his brilliant and triumphant spell at Sevilla FC with whom he lifted three Europa League titles.
The 33-year-old Portuguese central defender -who can also play midfielder- will be wearing the red and white UD Almeria shirt and will surely provide bags of experience, leadership and defensive strength to the squad.
Daniel Carriço arrived in Almeria city last Sunday and this Monday morning, the new signing took his medical, next he did a physical training on the indoor warm-up track of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium and he met his new team-mates. The Portuguese footballer has also been talking with head coach Rubi.
The squad members are having this Tuesday off, and on Wednesday, Carriço will be attending his very first training session as a Rojiblanco.
