Curro Harillo on the move to defend the Almeria ‘B’ goal

The 23-year-old keeper comes from Arandina CF with wide experience in this league level

UD Almería ‘B’ have strengthened the youngsters’ squad with the addition of Curro Harillo. The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins the Rojiblancos hopefuls following his departure from Arandina CF. He has considerable experience in the fourth-tier Tercera Division and, above all, in the third-tier Segunda Division ‘B’, so it will be a plus for the Almeria second-team squad. He is 1,85 meters tall and stands out for his balance between aerial play and fast reflexes between the sticks.

Curro Harillo Becerra was born in Ronda (Malaga) on 5 May, 1997. His footballing career began to shine while playing for the Málaga CF youth squad. Real Madrid CF were tracking his progress and that is why the budding goalie was invited to join ‘La Fábrica’ Academy youth ranks.

After playing for the Real Madrid Under-19s sides, the Ronda-born completed a loan switch to join the Portuguese side SC Braga ‘B’. His loan stint in Portugal came to an end and moved back to Spain, where he has been wearing the jerseys of CD San Roque de Lepe, Extremadura UD, UCAM Murcia, San Fernando CD, Mérida AD and, more recently, Arandina CF. Now, he signs for the UD Almería Academy team until the end of this season.
