4 games in 11 days and now 11 days without league action

The UD Almería squad are training this Thursday and Friday before having the weekend off due to the Spanish Cup final

UD Almería are back to training this Thursday after having Wednesday off following the home match played last Tuesday against Elche CF at the Power Horse Stadium (2-1). The practice has been held on the Anexo training base, where they will be meeting again for more football drills from 10:30am this Friday. The squad will have the weekend off duty.

When the Copa del Rey final kicks off this Saturday, there will be no LaLiga Santander action. These days off work will come in handy for the Rojiblancos who have been working up a sweat over the last 11 days with games coming thick and fast in April and beginning of May... After those 4 fixtures, UD Almería will have eleven days to tune up for the next one up, AC Osasuna, who will be welcoming the Rojiblancos on Saturday, 13 May in Pamplona. This new stop on the Indálicos' route map comes with the Indálicos out of the relegation zone.

The players will be able to recover and get rid of the fatigue as a consequence of so many games played in a row, although the coaching staff has been also lining up the players taking into account their physical fitness.

This Thursday, those who clocked up the most minutes in their legs against Elche CF did recovery exercises, while the rest of the squad exercised with more intensity. Others, with the likes of César de la Hoz, Melero and Embarba worked out at the gym. UD Almería 'B' youngster Rojas, who underwent surgery over a meniscus injury, has started to make his way back on the Anexo grass. Injured players Kaiky and El Bilal Touré have been under the supervision of the Club's medical services.
