Cristina Navarro is only 14 years old but she will play for the Almeria Women's first team

Cristina Navarro has been called up by Carlos Hinojo to the match against Cádiz CF. The RFEF accepts that she plays in the National First Division

After the approval of the request that the UD Almeria Foundation made to the RFEF, Cristina Navarro will be able to compete in the First National Division. She is only 14 years old and the teenager will be part of the UD Almeria Women first team.

The midfielder was already part of the UDA Women B-team. However, she could not play for the team since the team compete in the category of the Second Senior Andalusian of Almeria, in which the players must be at least 15 years old.

Cristina, who was born in Macael (Almeria), said that ‘After not being allowed to play for a while with the B team, I was very excited to know that I will make my debut with such a great team and playing in this category. I would have never imagined that in such a short time they could count on me ...’. She added that ‘I think I have made it thanks to the coaching team of 'B' and of course, thanks to Salva, my coach. Salva, and all the pieces of advice and football lessons I was given’.
