Countdown begins for National Congress of Supporters Clubs that UD Almería host

700 supporters from all over Spain will stay in 8 hotels and will get around sunny Almeria and its scenic surrounding areas on 30 chartered buses

The countdown to the XVIII National Congress of Supporters Clubs to be held in Almeria on 24/25/26 June has already begun. The UD Almeria Supporters Federation, organiser of the event, is fleshing out the details to welcome 700 supporters from 30 Spanish clubs who will be getting around Almería on more than 30 chartered buses and will stay in 8 hotels, most of them from the Almeria city, but also from nearby coastal towns Aguadulce and Roquetas de Mar.

Coordinating such a National Congress is not easy at all; Quite the contrary, the UDA Supporters Federation has been working for months with the intense excitement and full responsibility of playing perfect hosts, with the main aim that this annual event of the Spanish football Supporters' clubs will be unforgettable for every attendee and the visitors make the most of their time in sunny Almeria.

The first Federations of supporters clubs are expected to arrive on Thursday night, albeit it will be on Friday, 24 June when this Congress kicks off with a reception by the Mayor of Almeria at the Town Hall, a visit to La Alcazaba fortress and a delicious dinner at Mesón Gitano.

The Maestro Padilla Auditorium hosts the National Congress itself on Saturday, 25 June, in which issues related to fans and supporters clubs will be addressed. LaLiga President Javier Tebas will attend the event together with the Almeria-based authorities and representatives of UD Almería, who have supported and collaborated in this event.

In fact, in addition to the Rojiblancos Club, the Almería City Council, the Provincial Council, the Junta de Andalucía, Cajamar, Autocares Ramón del Pino, Viajes Alcazaba, Casi, Urci Hormigones, Sano, Serón City Council and numerous businesses in Almería have supported the National Congress. 

On Saturday, 25 June, there will be a lovely meal at the El Toyo Conference Centre followed by a sightseeing tour around Almeria city and scenic cape Cabo de Gata. Then, they will enjoy a tasty dinner as well as an entertaining show at night in the western town Fort Bravo.

On Sunday, 26 June, the supporters will visit the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium to take a group snap and later, all of them will head to the El Toyo Conference Centre to bring these three intense days to an end.
