UD Almería learned their opponents in the opening round of the Spanish Cup on Monday, with UD Castellonense set to provide the opposition. The date and kick-off time have now also been confirmed, with García Pimienta's side visiting the Elíseo Pla Ramírez stadium to face the Valencia-based outfit on Tuesday 27 October, with kick-off at 7:45pm.

While October began with 2 consecutive home fixtures for the Rojiblancos, the month will end in very different fashion, with UD Almería facing 3 straight away games. In addition to their Copa del Rey opener in Villanueva de Castellón, Valencia, the Rojiblancos will travel to Ipurúa later that same week before heading to Gerona.

Those fixtures will come on Matchdays 12 and 13.
