UD Almería squad list announced for FC Andorra encounter

New additions and key absentees as Rubi's side head to the Principality of Andorra

UD Almería head coach Rubi have announced the squad list for the upcoming match against FC Andorra, with Andrés Fernández, Nelson Monte, and Lopy making the team roster after their involvement in the Spanish Cup. The team, who have also seen UD Almería 'B' youth striker Hou included again due to attacking absences, had their final training session before heading to Andorra.

In a few notable changes compared to the Spanish Cup tie against CD Eldense, goalkeeper Andrés Fernández joins the squad, alongside defender Nelson Monte, who was rested for the Cup test. Lopy returns to the squad as well. However, forwards Léo Baptistão and Nico Melamed are both unavailable due to injury, which opens the door for Hou, to make his second consecutive appearance in the first team.

Despite the emotional challenge of losing his father on Thursday, Soko has made himself available. The Club also confirmed that Robertone and Chumi will not be part of the travelling party.

The squad had a final closed-door training session earlier today before flying to Lleida and continuing by road to Andorra.
