After a well-earned rest day on Tuesday, UD Almería have returned to training, now fully focused on their season opener against Albacete Balompié this Monday. The visitors have bolstered their squad with the addition of former Almería players, Antonio Puertas and Diego Mariño, making for an exciting and competitive clash.
The Indálicos kicked off their preparations at the Anexo training ground, where they will continue their sessions on Thursday. From Friday onwards, they will switch to the UD Almería Stadium, the venue for Monday's match.
UD Almería are riding high after a strong performance in their final pre-season friendly against Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr FC. Head coach Rubi is keen to build on that momentum, aiming for the team to be in peak condition for their opening fixture.
