Chumi and Rodrigo Ely named in UD Almería's squad

Two key defenders Join the Rojiblanca Line-Up for Saturday's Match Against Cádiz

Chumi and Rodrigo Ely are the notable additions to UD Almería's squad for their match this Saturday at 9pm against Cádiz CF at the Nuevo Mirandilla stadium. The Galician centre-back is available again after recovering from injury, while Brazilian defender Rodrigo Ely, who was signed during the recent winter transfer window, is called up for the first time by head coach Rubi.

On the other hand, there are notable absences, including the suspended Dzodic as well as Lopy and Nico Melamed, who are both in the final stages of recovering from their respective injuries. In fact, Rubi mentioned in Friday’s press conference that Melamed could return for the match against FC Andorra, while Lopy is expected to be available for the following week’s fixture against Córdoba CF, both to be played at UD Almería Stadium.

The UD Almería squad flew by charter to Jerez at 10am and then travelled by road to Cádiz.
