His recovery time is between two and three months. Robertone will be off the team rooster for about five weeks after his operation

UD Almería centre-back Chumi underwent successful surgery this Wednesday for a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot, an unfortunate injury that he sustained during the last match played against CD Mirandés at the Mediterraneo. The footballer has undergone surgery at Ripoll and Prado Sport Clinic - FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence by Doctors Pedro Luis Ripoll and Mariano de Prado.

At the end of the surgery, Dr Mariano de Prado stressed that everything had gone well, and ‘if his recovery process follows the planned steps, Chumi will be able to return to the pitch in around two or three months.’

Club’s medical team member Cid Andrade accompanied the 22-year-old footballer.

On a side note, Lucas Robertone, who also got injured in the match against CD Mirandés, will have to nurse a hamstring injury in his right leg and his recovery time will be around five weeks.
