'Choco' Lozano will be new UD Almería's striker

The Honduran footballer arrives on loan from Getafe CF and will provide the team with an extensive experience, quality and speed to the Rojiblancos' attack. He has played more than 100 games in the Spanish top flight

'Choco' Lozano, 30-year-old centre-forward, 1.85 metres tall, becomes the new UD Almería striker for the remainder of the season after reaching a loan deal with his parent club, Getafe CF, where the Honduran international does not have many opportunities to get minutes; in fact, he has played 6 league fixtures and 1 Copa del Rey tie to date.

Now, 'Choco' will have the great opportunity to demonstrate his football skills up front, based on his speed, mobility and quality, in addition to providing the team with heaps of experience. He has played more than 100 games in the top tier of Spanish football, and 139 in Segunda Division. 

'Choco' Lozano completes a loan move from Getafe CF, although he previously played for Cádiz CF, Girona FC and CD Tenerife, among other clubs. In the Cadista team, he played 124 games (registering 20 goals and producing 9 assists), in Tenerife, 68 games (20 goals -6 assists) and in Girona, 41 fixtures (3 goals- 1 assist). 

Anthony Rubén Lozano Colón, was born on 25th April, 1993 in the Honduran city of Yoro and he also has Spanish nationality. After kicking off his football career in his home country, he made the leap to Spain signing for Valencia Mestalla. It was the 2011/12 season. Since then, he has carved out a brilliant footballing career in Spanish football.
