Choco Lozano, Bruno Langa and Ramazani named in UD Almería squad list
The last two signings made in the January transfer window will travel to Valencia, as well as the Belgian left-winger after serving his one-match suspension. UD Almería will fight to the death again in order to try to clinch the first win of the 2023/24 season
Last two signings striker Choco Lozano and left-back Bruno Langa have been named in the squad list for this Saturday's match against Valencia CF at the Mestalla Stadium (KO 2pm Spanish Time/ Matchday 23). In addition, Largie Ramazani is available again after completing his one-game ban for accumulation of yellow cards.
UD Almería are preparing to face a new league meeting in a week with many transfers within the squad: 6 departures (five loan deals and one transfer) and 2 new additions that join the previous ones made. In the midst of the January transfer window, which has not been not easy, head coach Gaizka Garitano has been working with his players with the aim of springing a surprise in Valencia against confident rivals on their home turf, and thus being able to achieve 'once and for all' - as the gaffer emphasised in the pre-match press conference - the first victory of the 2023/24 season.
Injured forwards Luis Suárez and Koné will miss out on the involvement in the game against the Ché team. The Rojiblancos have completed one last training session this Friday morning and will be fastening their seatbelts on a charter flight on their way to Valencia.
