Chirino suspended as UD Almería head to Eibar with defensive concerns
The Rojiblancos will be missing several defenders for the Matchday 23 test at the Ipurúa Stadium
UD Almería will face SD Eibar next Sunday, 25 January, with notable absences in defence. Full-back Chirino must serve a one-match suspension after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against RC Deportivo de La Coruña.
Other defenders, including Bonini, Chumi, Pedro Fidel and Lopy, were also unavailable for the Dépor game and their fitness remains under close monitoring. According to Club reports, only the UD Almería 'B' youngster is expected to be available for selection, although the Italian centre-back has been back training on the pitch for several days.
Rubi’s squad will have a recovery session on Sunday, a day of rest on Monday and will resume training on Tuesday with 5 training sessions scheduled to prepare for the trip to the Basque Country.
