Chirino returns as Rubi names 24-man squad for Burgos trip

The right-back is back available after serving a 2-match suspension following his red card against Málaga CF

Chirino is the standout inclusion in UD Almería’s squad for Saturday’s game against Burgos CF at El Plantío stadium (KO 4:15 CET).

The right-back returns to action after completing a 2-game suspension following his dismissal against Málaga CF.

Head coach Rubi has called up 24 players for the trip to Burgos, meaning one player will still have to be left out before the official Matchday squad is confirmed.

Although Baba has recovered from his muscular injury, the Ghanaian midfielder has remained in Almería. With no major absences in the squad, the gaffer opted not to include him after nearly a month on the sidelines. His last appearance came away against Racing Santander.

The Rojiblancos completed a final closed-door morning training session at the UD Almería Stadium before travelling to Burgos on a charter flight at 5pm.
