Chico Flores, who will be in the driving seat of UD Almeria U16s ‘B’ and will be part of the Almeria ‘B’ coaching staff, thanks the fans for their affection

There are a number of the world's best coaches that flourished following glistening careers playing the game. Chico Flores, who was a UD Almería player in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 campaigns, and who has a great footballing career, has returned to the Rojiblancos Club after ending his playing career to embark on a life in coaching. The Cádiz-born footballer will be part of the Indálicos Academy as UD Almeria U16s ‘B' head coach and in addition, he will join Óscar Fernández's coaching staff as a technical assistant for the Tercera Division RFEF team.

José Manuel Flores Moreno spoke to the Club's official media, admitting that he was ‘very happy’ to be able to return home. After recalling some moments of his time as a footballer wearing the red and white shirt, the Academy Youth sides coach explained: ‘UD Almería have always treated me kindly. I was impressed that from the first training session I’ve been held in great affection, which is something mutual.’

Now it is time to share his ‘valuable experience’ before promising faithfully ‘to work with enthusiasm’ over the course of this new stage as a UD Almería lower ranks coach.
