UD Almería completed a double training session on Thursday ahead of Friday's final pre-season friendly against Córdoba CF before returning to Almería city
UD Almería's pre-season preparations will come to an end on Friday following the team's final summer friendly against Córdoba CF (KO 10:30am Spanish Time).
Ahead of the match, García Pimienta's side completed a double training session on Thursday at the Marbella training camp, continuing their preparations and fine-tuning the final details before the start of the 2026/27 campaign.
The 7th day of the training camp featured a busy schedule. The morning session focused mainly on tactical work, while the afternoon was dedicated to set-pieces and dead-ball situations. The coaching staff also carried out anthropometric assessments as part of the players' physical monitoring, while the head coach held a tactical meeting with the squad to analyse different aspects of the team's play.
The atmosphere throughout the summer football camp has been extremely positive, with the squad making the most of an intense week of training in Marbella.
Once Friday's friendly at La Dama de Noche ground comes to an end, the Rojiblancos will return to Almería city, bringing the pre-season programme to a close.
From Monday, the focus will switch fully to competition as UD Almería begin preparations for the opening fixture of the 2026/27 season.
