Kaiky seals move to Shabab Al Ahli FC after UD Almería exit

The Brazilian centre-back departs UD Almería after 3 seasons. Juan Gutiérrez heads to Argentina on loan to play for CSD Defensa y Justicia

UD Almería have confirmed the departure of Brazilian defender Kaiky, who has completed a permanent move to Shabab Al Ahli FC in the UAE Pro League.

The 20-year-old Brazilian brings an end to his 3-year spell with the Spanish side, during which he made 53 appearances across all competitions.

Kaiky joined UD Almería from Santos FC ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, a season that saw the Club competing in top-tier LaLiga. He spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Albacete Balompié before returning to the Indálicos for the 2024/25 pre-season. Of his 53 total appearances, 21 came in Spain’s top flight.

The Club would like to thank Kaiky for his dedication and professionalism, wishing him success as he begins a new chapter in the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, UD Almería forward Juan Gutiérrez has been sent out on loan to Argentinian side CSD Defensa y Justicia in search of regular minutes and further development..
