Nearly 1,000 travelling fans in Cartagena
The UDA fans supported their team in the match against FC Cartagena. Both the head coach and the players highlighted the unwavering support they felt and dedicated the victory to them
The Cartagonova stadium in Cartagena city turned red and white on Matchday 16 because apart from the tickets officially acquired through the clubs or the Federation of Supporters Clubs, there were many UD Almería fans who bought their tickets online. For this reason, the number of loyal Rojiblancos' supporters was around 1,000.
Although most of the travelling fans were in the visitors stand, there were Rojiblancos T-shirts and scarves seen across the stadium. The players celebrated the goals with the UD Almería fans and also the final 1-2 victory. Head coach Rubi and the players highlighted the unrivalled support in the press conference after the match.
'I'm very happy because the fans are now going to return home celebrating this victory,' Rubi stressed in his post-match presser.
