Centre-back Chumi is available again for selection

The UD Almería central defender rejoins collective training after being given the all clear by the Doctor. UD Almería compete the last training session this Saturday before heading to Granada CF this evening

UD Almería central defender Chumi has been given the all clear by the Doctor as he has recovered from the injury that forced him to miss the last Matchday against Athletic Club de Bilbao.

The 24-year-old footballer trained this Friday with the group in the session that was held at the Power Horse Stadium and is therefore available for selection. Head coach Gaizka Garitano has three centre-backs while waiting for César Montes, who continues to exercise on the sidelines and he will not know untill the last minute whether or not he will be up for grabs this weekend.

Despite Chumi's full recovery, the squad continue to have significant absences, especially in attack with the likes of Ramazani and Léo Baptistão, due to suspension, and Luis Suárez and Koné, due to injury.

The UD Almería players have been put through their paces at the Power Horse Stadium ahead of Sunday's encounter at the Nuevo Los Cármenes Stadium to try to rack up the first win of the season. This Saturday, last training session and trip to Granada in the evening.
