Álex Centelles clock up century of UD Almería matches

UD Almería left-back Alex Centelles was honoured ahead of the match against Real Zaragoza for having reached 100 matches as a UD Almería player. He made his 100th appearance on the previous Matchday at the Ipurua Stadium against SD Éibar.
Club's Managing Director Mohamed El Assy presented him with a framed UD Almería shirt with the number 100 printed on the back at the UD Almería Stadium pitch.
The 25-year-old left-back has been with the Club for 5 seasons. He signed for UD Almería in the 2020/21 season, playing 15 matches: 13 in the second division, one in the promotion play-off and one in the Spanish Cup. In 2021/22, when he earned promotion to the top flight, he played 22 matches in the Spanish second tier and one in the knockout tournament.
In the 2022/23 season in the elite football, he appeared in 16 matches, 15 in the league, grabbing one goal, and one in the Spanish Cup. The following season, 2023/24, he was named in 14 matches in the Primera division and one Cup tie.
This current season, he has already played 31 matches, making a significant contribution not only defensively but also offensively, as he has played in more advanced positions on the left wing, in addition to playing as a full-back. Here's to 100 more!
