Carlos Hinojo hands in his resignation from Almería Women head coach position

The Almeria-born head coach, who made the decision at the beginning of the week, was going to inform the players after the match against La Rambla

Carlos Hinojo handed in his resignation as Almería Women’s head coach. The girls’ head coach, who took charge of the team since its creation back in 2018, made the decision at the beginning of the week and let the people responsible for the section know right away. At first, his idea was to communicate it to the players after the match against La Rambla. However, the postponement of the same has led to the squad having been informed in the morning.

Carlos Hinojo stood down as a coach of Almeria Women for personal reasons that prevent him from continuing to carry out the daily routine of the squad that plays in Primera Nacional, which is the third level of league competition for Spanish women's football.

UD Almería would like to thank Carlos Hinojo for his professionalism and complete dedication to his duties with Almeria Women throughout the last years, as well as in the different teams of the Almeria Academy of which he was part in previous stages.
